I’ve (understandably) been asked quite a bit lately if I have a release date set for The Body at Clearwater Bay, so I wanted to bring you all up to speed.

My plan has always been to release the game this year, and although I’ve made huge strides in the latest game’s development, I’m not confident it will be ready in time to release in 2026.

I learned a lot making Whispers at White Oak Inn. Some of what I’ve learned has helped me speed up development, and some of what I’ve learned has helped me slow down to make the game feel more polished. I’ve also wanted to make this second game a little bigger than the first one with more puzzles and some minigames I’m excited about which takes time.

Long story short, I’m leaning towards a Spring of 2027 release date. If anything changes, I’ll be sure to let you all know! In the meantime, enjoy some rainy day vibes from The Body at Clearwater Bay:
