Years ago I started creating a mystery game with a few buddies. Life got the best of us, I got burnt out and we ended up dropping the project.

After a six year hiatus, I’m dusting off my game dev skills and picking the project back up!

The Alex Hill Mystery game is back!

Are you totally new here and don’t know what this project is? No worries, I’ve got you 😉

Alex Hill is a first-person point-and-click mystery game (think of games like Nancy Drew, Myst or Dust: A Tale of the Wired West).

Will there be puzzles?

Yes!

Will there be intrigue?

Of course!

Will there be murder?

You’ll have to find out when you’re on the case as Alex Hill!

So, what’s the timeline?

I’ve been having a blast working on this project again, but good things take time. Right now I’m putting together a short demo to start a crowdfunding campaign. I’m shooting for late summer or early fall to get the demo out and the campaign going.

Why crowdfunding?

For one, it will allow me to focus my time on this project, but it would also allow me to hire good voice actors—one of my biggest costs.
