Hey everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season! I have some exciting Alex Hill updates for you:

1. The Script and Voice Acting

I’ve been working away on the script the last couple of months and I’m wrapping it up! I’ve also started the process to cast voice actors!

I’m so excited to be at this stage of the game, and want to give a shoutout to VPG Studios, a studio that helps make it possible for indie games and projects to have voice acting.

2. Alex Hill Forums and Discord Channel

If you’ve been following this blog for awhile, you know that I have forums up for the game. I’m going to be switching over to a Discord channel instead. The biggest reason is because the forums have been difficult to moderate. There is a lot of spam I’ve had to sift through, and Discord makes this easier to manage.

I also did a poll recently about which one was preferred. Discord won overwhelmingly.

So, if you’re interested in being a part of that channel. Head over to the Alex Hill Discord Channel! (Edit: Link has been updated)

If you contributed to the Indiegogo campaign, the Discord channel is where I will be fulfilling perks rather than the forums.

3. Where’s the Mac Demo?

I’m working on it! The script has been my main priority over the last couple of months. Additionally, as a PC user, I had to buy a Mac to be able to make the game available for Mac users. I recently purchased one, and I’ve finalized the script, so I hope to have that available for all of the Mac users soon! I’ll keep you updated. 😉
