I have an update for those experiencing crashes—specifically the ones happening early in the game!

I have updated the hair for each of the characters so they should no longer cause problems. One of the character’s hair—Henry—was more complicated, and I’m still working on it, but I have temporary hair for him in the new build until I can figure out something better.

If you bought the game on itch.io the new build is already available. If you are on Steam, please follow the steps below to access the new build. I will eventually make that build available as the default on Steam once I have Henry’s hair figured out, but I wanted to allow people to play while I continue to work on it!

•Completely exit out of Steam
•Open your steam library
•Right click on Alex Hill: Whispers at White Oak Inn
•Open “Properties”
•Click on “Betas”
•Under “Beta Participation” click on the drop down menu and choose “crash_update Crash Build”
•Start your game
